I really enjoyed my experience here today. The staff were very friendly, the lighting was very nice and the food was amazing! I loved the xiaolong bao dumplings and the braised beef noodle soup. I’m definitely coming back soon for more!

Loved the chicken and corn soup. The beef dumplings were really hard beef. Staff didn't check in and waited a while before leaving the table to fund someone as my phone couldn't access their menu after scanning the barcode. Also no bathroom inside restaurant.

First time at the Westfield restaurant, much more spacious than Ashfield. Ordered pan fried dumplings and two mains and be warned they are huge servings. We got the rice noodles in XO sauce and the rainbow beef. Surprisingly both dishes were not spicy as I didn't raise a sweat. But everything was cooked well and tasty. I ordered the Pumpkin dessert to take away for my sister and she said they were fantastic.

Nice and not so busy place for afternoon lunch. Our order came really fast and it was well cooked. Xiao Long Bao was delicious and pork belly was amazing. Definitely would come back again and highly recommend anyone to come here for afternoon lunch.

Food here was alright but some items did not come out fully hot. We ordered the: - Beef & coriander dumplings (boiled) 2.8/5 - Xiao long bao 3.5/5 - Braised beef noodles with tendons 2.5/5 The boiled dumplings weren’t as hot as I would’ve liked and had some tiny cartilage textures embedded in the meat. Xiao long baos were satisfying but also weren’t as hot as expected. Felt like the soy sauce and vinegar dips carried the taste. The braised beef noodle soup lacked depth. Broth was light and didn’t taste of simmered beef stock. For the pros, decor was really nice, portion sizes were big and proportionate to price. Overall, 3/5 😞.

Great place for Chinese food. Pork Buns were absolutely amazing, the rest of the food - Xiao long bao, dumplings - was good but nothing extraordinary. I’d go again, but there’s plenty of other places I’d prefer more over here. Hence the rating.

We enjoy all the franchises of New Shanghai, their food is always tasty and interior is very comfortable and clean. Only call out is sometimes they have issues with their payment methods, eg once I wanted to pay via card they only took cash then they changed their mind but wouldn’t refund me the $1 card fee.
